It's because your files haven't got any tag.

Can't you tag all of them automatically with iTunes ? Can't you play them from the browser (not the "Music" one, but this one on the main menu) ?

u know what maybe, i can, im gonna try it super quick, hold on.
but, the thing is, Macs are great computers...
so when they have a flaw..
its a BIG one...
those files:

._Hit The Floor.mp3

are like info files...
its so the computer will recognize it next time the meizu is plugged in...
are there any mac gurus out there?
cause im a programmer, and ive never been able to fix this...
its not in my league...

and i would like for me to be able to go to my music folder and look at what i have instead of the browser...
a little more convenient...
but if thats not possible...

and i would be able to tag them...
but it doesnt seem to work...
like, i dont know...
iTunes claims that they are tagged with ID3 vers.2.2
but its obviously not...
and when i use my moms iTunes...
on her Win.XP, everything works perfectly..
no unknown crap...
and no random storage files...
this is super obnoxious

sorry, i'm not Mac or iTunes user. BTW, maybe you just need to update the Music library on your miniPlayer.

i just read your last post: and if you try with ID3v1 tags ?

I have this same problem. I have found that you can change the ID3 tag version in itunes by right clicking on a song. The problem is though when I change it, some song that didnt show up before show up and some songs that showed up last time dont show up. Is there a ID3 version that the M6 prefers?

I recommend you get Tag & Rename, it's really easy to use and very efficient

ok, i found the problem...
they need to be in ID3 1.1 format...
or 1.0

so select all of your music...
and then right click/hold 'control' while clicking
and click "Convert ID3 Tags"

worked like a charm!

yes!
iTunes still doesnt suck completely!!

it might be that your music has the tage but just in the wrong version. select all then go to iTunes to the convert tags options. convert to V1.1, shouldnt take more then 1 min
