Hi there!
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to get my miniplayer to play DRM protected WMA's without having to remove the DRM with Fairuse?? (wich doesn't work with the new MediaPlayer :-§)
Thanks!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHope you still read this, so here it goes

Of course there is a way. I am not using Fairuse just because of that reason, that it constantly brakes and stops working, but I found another tool that works perfectly for my needs and uses a legal process too. It gets rid of the protection through a conversion process
It is called Tunebite and this the link to it http://audials.com/en/remove_drm/index.html
Tell me how it works for you

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsM6 miniplayer can already play DRM .WMA's
First of all make sure you have the latest firmware which is 2.003.2.
Then, make sure you set your miniplayer's USB setting to MTP instead of MSC by going into SETTINGS then USB MODE.
Finally transfer your DRM music to your Meizu M6 miniplayer via Media Player.
If you had tried to transfer your DRM music previous to these steps, you may have to remove them and reload; I think that's what I had to do to get mine to work. It's great! I don't have to waste my time converting music, and I get the album art too, if one is present.
Starchild: Thanks for the link though. I'd like to try that app. I have a DRM Video that I'd like to burn on DVD.Last edited by jmreyesiii; 07-31-2007 at 05:59 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsJust make sure that your video is not a high resolution one, otherwise it won't work properly, also you need a powerfull PC...experience tought me so.
As for the protected music, I always un-protect it, just to be on the safe side, I heard so many people loosing their music collection due to some stupid license expire, so I don't want to risk it.
Everything that comes in on my PC is played and converted through Tunebite. At least this is how I see things.
