Sound is too low

Hello I've just bought a miniplayer in europe (the one by dan-elec). It seems that the sound level is low (33) is this normal ?

Can anyone help ? if it is possible to change this setting

Main Menue -> Music -> Sound Effects -> Restrict Volume

The European Union has regulations regarding volume in audio players, installing firmware found on this site will often fix the problem.

or maybe it has something to do with your earphones? i seem to remember someone else before complaining that his earphones produces low volume. it seemed that the specifications of the earphones can affect the volume level heard by the ear.

If you flash the firmware with the latest from the meizu site then the sound restriction will be lifted and the radio enabled. I have a UK model and have just done that and so far all works fine. There are waranty implications.
