the only one ive tried is the v moda bass freq and the more expensive Vibe.
i personally like the bass freq better because i listen to hip hop and such.
i havent tried the other two, of the three which ones should i get?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell, Sennheiser are a headphone-based company so, I would recommend them. I've heard great things about CX300, but have not personally tried them. On the other hand, all of these earphones are about the same price-range. V-Moda is also sweet!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsfor the cx300 im worried about the fit. reviews stated that its not a good fit.

The fit with the ep-630 (cx300) should be fine for you as they come with 3 different sized tips.
Regardless, since you liked the bass freq you may as well grab a pair. The cx300 has less bass compared to the bass freq but has better treble and midrange dareisay.
As good as those 3 canalphones you've listed are, I'm against recommending either of them.Current Rigs:
8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use
8GB iPod Touch 2G > Shure SE530

Which ones would you reccomend
If you're into bass, Try the Koss Sparkplugs, I prefer them over my Bass Freqs, but hell, I paid loads for them so I have to use them...
The Cx300 are utter shit for Bass, but like Blackstar stated, they got good treble.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI think what Blackstar means, is if you are willing to spend a bit more money, you will get much much better performance earphones. But if you're within a limited price range (like I am) then we don't really have much choice.
PS: I use the Creative EP-630. This earphone is about the same as the Sennheiser CX-300, and cheaper then it.Meizu M8 MiniOne

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHeh, bro you should compare them CX-300s with a Sparkplug (which I've done) the bass owns the CX-300 by miles.
But yea, for other normal players, the CX-300 won't give bass freaks a satisfactory boom in your ear. But hell man, when you got the M3/M6 turn the bass up and it's all good!

I'll admit the KSC75 is cheap and fantastic, but the sparkplug? Oh brother...
If you're willing to fork out for a v-moda vibe, you may as well get something of higher quality like the Audio Technica CK7. It doesnt have as much bass as the vibes but it definately rips it in every other aspect, detailed highs, smooth midrange, non-muffled lows.
You need bass for pop, hiphop type music so the CK7 may not be right for you. But then for that price-range, there really isnt any other canalphone i know of with an equal amount of bass to the vibes or bass-freq.
The point i'm trying to make is, bass is not everything. No point in listening to muffled Cr*p ^.~
But as iverson pointed out, its all a matter of how much quality you're willing to pay for, everyone has a limit.Current Rigs:
8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI totally agree with you bro, no point in listening to bass muffled crap, so thats why my EQ is set so that I can definitely hear the Vox.
V-Moda's are quite good quality, now the only thin they got to sort out is their fucking short and thing wires. I mean fucking hell, we pay this much for this shit, least you could do do make sure it don't look so bloody cheap. Thickening the wires can't kill yaLast edited by Echo; 04-16-2007 at 03:43 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsEcho. No need for that language dude. This isnt a V-moda forum anyway so complain elsewhere.
As for earphone selection. Everybody's taste and requirements are different. My older ears won't hear the same frequencies as younger ones (too many loud concerts--damn you Led Zeppelin). I find that the Super.fi 5 Pro earphones are outstanding but a bit pricey. Depends on what you are willing to pay I guess. About all you can really do is listen to some and judge for yourself. But usually you get what you pay for so don't go too cheap.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsDidn't realize there weren't censors on these forums so yea.
No need to get pissy on me man, don't get your knickers in a twist, I was just saying that the V-Moda's are good quality in terms of sound but not in terms of build.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsShow a little class and censor yourself.
This was a much better way to say it. Sounds much more intelligent. Not getting all pissy on you...I just find it annoying how our language seems to be sinking to an all time low. Not just you but all over. There is no need to say "fuck" in every other sentence. Just my opinion.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHeheh. The word is part of our teen culture man. Hard for adults to accept yes, its something we pick up over TV etc...
Like you said, but I'll say it differently. This isn't a forum to complain about teens and their language, so go cry somewhere else.
We're here to discuss headphones.
Bass Freqs, man, their the few headphones I know with comes down to 8Hz so if your a bass freak, I'd recommend themLast edited by Echo; 04-18-2007 at 04:51 AM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI tried Sennheiser and Creative EP-630 and they both sound like crap compared to the Skullcandy Smokin' Buds. And the Skullcandy's are cheaper to (in my country anyway), they have volume control in the cable and are delivered with a nice storage box.

Not that any human can hear 8Hz. In addition, frequency response tells nothing about sound quality. My earbuds go down to 10hz - 45,000hz, and still doesn't beat my Alessandro MS-2 in terms of bass, or clarity, which has a more "narrow" freq. response.
Things that do determine the amount of bass though (if everyone is only worried about bass)
1. Driver Architecture & Technology
2. Driver Size
3. Driver Housing
4.Type of magnet used for the driver (which in most cases is Neodymium).Current Rigs:
