Hi. Just ordered a 4gb M3 and i have a question. Do diffrent audio formats use diffrent amounts of battery power? Like does mp3 format use less power than Ogg? Thanks for any help!

yes, specially when formats require more processing to reproduce its sound. It requires usually much more battery OGG playback than MP3 or WMA.
Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

    Thats correct

this is because OGG uses a more advanced algorithm and mp3 a more simple one... this is slightly reflected in the sound quality though

No matter what format you use you will get good battery life out of the m6 though... of course that depends on your definition of good..

Thanks, i hope the music card will act the same as the m6. Sound quality is important to me to a certain point, then size and battery life come into play. Thanks for the help.

I think the M3 will show the same behaviour as the M6 as also on the M3 an OGG file will take more processing power to play...

The M3 looks(also spec wise) good though and seems to sound even a bit better than the M6(which already sounds great)
The M3 might have some bugs in the current firmware. Not a big problem though as Meizu is known for releasing new and improved firmwares very often so any problems will be fixed with a new firmware release
