there were no changes to format itself, so it should be played normally...
    http://flac.sourceforge.net/changelog.html#flac_1_1_4
    • General:
      • Improved compression with no change to format or decrease in speed.
      • Encoding and decoding speedups for all modes. Encoding at -8 is twice as fast.
    • FLAC format:
      • (none)

But it seems the version 1.1.3 will not play on miniplayer.

1.1.4 plays fine. Searching in tracks is only a bit slow, but output is freakin funtastic

But the file sizes are huge - 5mg WMA is approx 25mg on Flac - considering these players only go up to 8gb - That's a big trade off

@Guitar1969 : FLAC is lossless my friend. It can compress your original CD down to approx. 50-60% while still being able to burn the original CD from it.
And it decodes faster than mp3, that's why it's no problem for modern devices as the miniplayer to play them.
wma is a lossy format like mp3.
