Spatializer and Hissing sounds

Hi all.

I have noticed that the hissing sounds are the result of the spatializer. When it is on, the hissing sound is very very noticeable. When it is off, there is non-detectable to none hissing sounds.

If you turn the spatializer with ViBE set to >=3, you will get weird computer-signal sounds.

Is it just my in-ear earphones or is someone else getting this too? I have noticed this since after upgrading from v1.010 to v2.002.

And thats where you are wrong my friend.
DNSe accentuates the hissing. Hissing is always present, no matter what firmware version your using. But the known fact is that DNSe's PCE makes the noise worse. Turning it off doesnt perform any miracles, it just makes the hissing less present.

However, if you are using a decent set of phones' you'll get annoyed anyhow.

I have found that you really have to be careful with these settings as it can make the M6 sound horrible. I usually keep these off and just use the regular eq.

I use to keep the spatializer off. I also noticed that the higher the bit rate of the encoded music file, the less strange noises you'll get.
