I was really disappointed that I had to rename a picture for every song in order to get some album art. But alas I have found a much better way.
Using this method, an image can be used throughout an entire album, instead of a particular song!
How to:
1. Get the Album picture to a relatively small size (I used 200x200, JPEG). It is best to use 80x80.
2. Create a new folder inside the player's root directory called "Albums" (No CAPS).
3. Rename the Album picture into "#ALBUM##ARTIST#.jpg" where "#ALBUM#" is the name of the album written in the ID-tags and #ARTIST# is the artist. Note that there is no space between the two phrases.
4. Copy the picture into your newly created "Albums" directory.
5. Disconnect the player and "Update Music Library".
6. Voila, experience a whole new level of enjoyment with Album Art!
Example:
Let's say I have an album from the
Red Hot Chilipeppers called
Stadium Arcadium. The file I need to place inside my "Albums" folder would be called "Stadium ArcadiumRed Hot Chilipeppers.jpg".
Note: You can make the files/folder hidden if wanted to make the player less cluttered.
Edit: Apart from having correct ID-tags, you must also have your songs sorted by Artist/Album, such as: "MUSIC\Red Hot Chilipeppers\Stadium Arcadium"
Edit: As of version 2.001.1, there are also other, perhaps easier, methods to use.
