I'm not really following the RockBox project, but I think that the Meizu retail version would come up before that.

M8 all the way. The meizu rockbox project has to be the single biggest waste of time possible. The M6 is quite old know but already has extensive codec support, album art support and a good looking customisable interface. Why would you want to put an ugly interface and perhaps at a push support for a couple more obscure codecs? And as for games, that is ridiculous. The M6's processor is a 266mhz cpu which would have trouble emulating any decent gaming platform, not to mention the fact it would have awful controls! try playing super mario kart using a touch strip yeah.

You could have done this with WINE 1.0 and the M8, but they got there. It shows that everything comes to ye who waits! :D

Rockbox (of cause)
I did already vote in this poll long ago and still I am sure we need to wait longer on M8. I don't believe we see the final version within September.
I more believe the Rockbox project. It seems they now finally got something working, so I keep my vote guys

two words : gapless. playback.
If I can dual-boot Rockbox on my M6 somehow, I would definitely use it.
