Thanks for the information. And the M6 is the only 100 percent Chinese player in the bunch of well known brand names. If a player is positioned next to Sony players, it must be a teriffic player.
It got a bit of an unfair voting considering the reviewer completely failed! He says:

Mmm first off he doesn't actually know how to use a semi-colon but most importantly the M6 does support DRM and album art! Should be at least position 3 or 4.
Most of the other players don't support Album art, and they don't complain about it. Seems that with a Chinese players they become more high demanding.

M6 supports DRM?!? since when? Last time I checked...well...it didn't......
you can transfer drm-protected wma using the MTP usb mode. I never tried it myself (I see no reason why I should pay for music which I cannot resell once I stop liking it) but people seem to use it.
It is. The Samsung's buttons aren't that responsive, and the Sandisk's screen looks bad. The miniPlayer should be first or second IMO. The Creative is worth buying, but it kinda looks like a miniPlayer knockoff :P.
Come on, some of these have tiny screens, the Sansa has a bad screen, the V Plus has like a 16 color screen, yet the Meizu is better than most of them, plus the price is outdated. The only real competitor is the Creative Zen (4GB). I have to complain about the controls though, they feel like a really cheap MP4 from China. Tactile strip is the way to go. Meizu FTW!
Actually, the Sansa View is a new player that has been getting very good reviews, particularly in the sound quality department. It's supposed to have the same audio chipset as the Sansa Clip, which was the first Sansa without horrible sound, and which some people even considered as "audiophile quality". Personally, I think it's probably even more of a competitor than the Zen.
But yeah, I think the M6 should be much higher on that list. 3rd place would be more fair, IMO.
The thing is, these guys are outdated on their M6 info. Somehow they don't seem to know that the M6SL even exists, or that many of the firmware quirks (namely album art and DRM) have been fixed by now. I think this partially explains the M6's 9th position, considering that it's being compared to newer devices (some of them just came out on the market).
I agree it seems they have forgot the SL and many features.
It looks like they have recycled old reviews (dated 2006)
+ if you look to users review rate, you will see the M6 has still the highest one... editors may use MP3 player before giving their opinion this review seems to me not really serious anyway, and there are some new models of MP3 players far better than those who are present here now (including the SL).
Dont push it , 9ths is pretty darn good, There are still some glitches in the M6 and a few problems , If these were fixed I could see it getting nearer 5th , But not near the top , the players from creative and sony are pretty damn good.

The might be good, but they aren't great. Neither Sony nor Creative support Ogg Vorbis natively, and the number 1 looks like a cheap copy of the M6.
You might also like to know that (according to Wikipedia) the M6 was released in 2006, followed by late 2007 with the M6SL and the Zen was released in September 2007! :D
