Meizu M8 Mini One 8GB - Genuine Pre-Order?

This website, stylishpc.com, is advertising a pre-order sale of the M8.
They state a release date of 18 September 2008.

But... is this genuine?

I don't really understand your advice.
I've been sitting tight and waiting for a L-O-N-G time already, sir.

This website seems the genuine deal... so I'm sure M8 fans might be interested in this pre-order promise, hence my post.

I don't trust it. For one thing, the information page has the exact same specs as our page. It even has the outdated stuff. Plus, it has older photos. I wouldn't trust that company. Just wait until the Meizu is officially out. Meizu promised it would come out by March 2008, but that was WAY off.

Ooops, please excuse typo in title "Mine One".... an unashamed example of a Freudian slip there, hehe.

This is clearly fake. No offense but how would some dodgy website know when the M8 will be released. J.Wong hasn't even announced the M8's release date on the Chinese forum, don't you think if he had that we would all know about it on here and it would be big news? It is pretty easy to see that this is a hoax. Many sites have been popping up with fake release dates and old pictures for well over a year now.

Yes, you could be correct in assuming that J Wong would announce an official release date on here first... but, not necessarily. I say that because it isn't unknown for products to establish sales links ahead of an official release date 'proper'.

It could be a hoax but I wonder why. This is an established company, it isn't like a fake website stealing your money.

But anyway, I'm not here to say it is genuine or fake... I'm just sharing the information.

According what Yankee Chan from Meizu did said to me for some few months this date could match perfectly to what he said. But to believe this I don't know, since we have seen all this misinformation around here.

@ Torminator: yeah, the dates to tie up, but guess we just have to wait and see.

@ nice2knowu: why would the topic be closed?

So there's absolutely no reason to trust this company.

They may be having to rely on older photographs, just like everyone else, I guess?

For now... anyway.
