Note this:M8(mini One) NEVER official announcement

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Well,we all know M8,aka mini One for a long long time,but all we have know,never Meizu official announced.

As J.W himself said,he never treat him as the CEO of Meizu,but just a very normal forum user,so none of his word posted in the Meizu forum is official announcement.

Lol, yeah, whatever J. Wong says on the Meizu BBS can't really be considered as "an official statement of Meizu CEO", but... you are forgetting that the M8 project was officially announced at least on CeBIT. It was shown to the world at that time, remember?

Please don't let this be wongs attempt at a reason for either not releasing the m8 at all or more delays or releasing an inferior product.

I would be so heart broken and furious and would probably give up and boycott meizu in future.

If they aren't releasing the M8, you can always look for another phone. I know this phone is nice but maybe if its going to be released next year there are more affordable and better phones on the market then the M8. At the moment I'm searching for other affordable phones with touchscreen. But without a source I wont believe this.

There is no source. I think burnfox was just noting the fact that J. Wong posts on the Meizu BBS as a normal user, and therefore what he says there is not official information. I had already mentioned that a while ago, but this doesn't mean anything. And it certainly doesn't mean that the M8 is not official.

The M8 has already been mentioned in the Meizu main website (which should count as official), not to mention the CeBIT exhibition that was a way of showing to the world that Meizu is indeed working on the M8 and close to completing it (JW himself said that was the purpose of the exhibition). So there's no reason for worries, the M8 is real.

I agree this better not be some very sad attempt to cushion a blow for another delay. I honestly don't care if its his official statement or not, it's his word and he did say july the 15th. If he doesn't actually fulfill his word I think itll be the last straw for alot of people we have wait long enough.....

Quick question, the first alpha models are going to be shipped on the 15th or they'll open for registration for the alpha model on the 15th? 'Cause you know, those are 2 very different things.

Not that I'll get the m8 anyway, the motivation for it is just gone.

We'll see progress about Meizu their devices soon. Between 10th July - 13th July they're at the SinoCES in Qingdao.

...:: SINOCES ::...

Search for Meizu.
At the page there stands following: Meizu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.
I hope they'll show us the final M8

lol, come on, this isn't JW's attempt for anything.. it's just a user expressing his concerns.

As for any possible further delays, I would say that it's not likely at this point. But even if it happens it's not because JW wishes it, you know? Technological development is hard and full of unforeseen problems, and thus unforeseen delays. This has already been debated over and over.

Let's just wait and see.. the 15th July is not that far.

PS: I believe the 15th July is actually just the date when they open registration for the alpha model.

I agree I think the 15th is when the "registration" begins but still I've been very patient like many others. It's the fact that they keep promising dates that they never fulfill so yes I think some of us are a little annoyed.

Not quite sure either but it seems to me to be a buffer for another disappointment. Then again i could be wrong.

I'm not so sure about the 15th just being for registration. I remember reading on here that the alpha models and I think most of the beta models were going to be given to members who are most known and respected on the chinese bbs. So they already know who they are going to be offering these models to. Unless the 15th is when these people will find out about it and say weather they want one or not. If that's the case I don;t see why that was announced as a date at all to be honest as it would have nothing to do with the normal user and could have been simply emailed to those users.

All i'm saying is that something better be coming on the 15th and it very well better be astonishing news!!

Lol what does it matter whether it is official or not?

This really is because there's nothing else to talk about.

@below:

LOL!

Seriously now, they start their "news" saying that "There’s some commotion over the Meizu forum". First this is a not "the Meizu forum", and second... what kind of commotion is that, in a 2 pages thread?

I can only think that either PMP Today are desperate for something to post, or they're just completely idiots.

EDIT: to be honest these "news" have made my day. I laughed my ass off :D
EDIT2: I was rude in calling PMPToday "idiots" and I appologise for that. What I meant was that IMO, they're out of their mind for posting something like this as news.
