We cannot use ":" "/" etc. in file name, and meizu load only this album art, where name is the same like of an album. We must wait for new firmware/RockBox project

If we cant yous ":" and "/" in file/album names, then how come my M6SL does show them?
The only part that doesnt work is getting album art to work.

meizu read album name from tag, not from directory name. so when album has f.ex. ":" in file name, Superman cannot download album art on meizu (because, if you want see art, the name of file with art must be the same like album name (in tag)
I followed instructions to the "T" but I have no cover image. I see that the image is in the same folder with the music. Is there something else that I should be doing with the Superman.exe other than in the simple tut. I do have the latest firmware and my computer is XP.

Has the folder containing the album the same name like the album itself? Then this is the problem...
SuperMan v1.09 is now available!
The biggest change is the new Fancy-Album-Art function (thanks to parena)!
But notice you need ImageMagick installed to use this function, you can download it here: SourceForge.net: Downloading ...

But the image size i need is 240x240, there is a csutom art size in the settings but it does not change anything, am i doing something wrong
i would like to save images at 240x240 (or bigger) and also apply the fancy art to the same image (fancy art is no big problem as i have messed with the original scrip to adaptto 240 size)

For bigger album covers you must edit the options, but if the pictures from google are too small (preview pcitures) it has no effect. You must click on the blue eye for a full size preview of the image, and then click this preview and the image will be stored at the selected size!

but when i apply fancy album art to it the image is reduced to 80x80, can this also be overridden, i have a script that i have modified that can do it but i would like to operate all this from you excellent application, does or can the album art fancy work on the preset images size set in the options

The problem is that if you use a background image the proportions aren't ok.
Or have solved that in your modified script?
If that is so, please post this script!
the fancy album art function doesn't work my picture is 320x240 i have a fancytmp.jpg in the "temp" folder (which i create myself because their is a bug about it) and everything is ok i do right click to create fancy album art and ok and no fancy album art nothing...
well the thing is that i have not implemented a background image but leave it black as this gives a better result on the T50 player as most of the interface at the moment is dark.
but it is still experimental as i want the main album image as large as possible and having a background will distract from the album art, so i keep it clean and black,
but i may adapt it so people can add their own source color.
The player i want this for does not use background images for the whole screen, you can either set a background image for the location where the art goes which is a 240x240 section of the screen, if art exists it overlays this background image and this is why i want art in a larger size than the default 80x80 meizu size
At the moment i have adapted the drag and drop verison of the fancy script to create 240x240 images with plain black background and it only leaves a small black border and enough space for a nice reflection
thanks for all your help on this and i understand way the fancy script is the way it is and why i can not make them bigger withregards to the back image
I can't download superman from this site (every time i received a damaged zip file). Could someone posts the file on an external site like RapidShare: Easy Filehosting? thanks!

Can you please post your modified script, that I can do the changes in my code?
Hi, I've been using SuperMan and for me it's a very useful tool. The only thing I'm missing is the program to look for album art in the ALBUMS folder. I sometimes put the covers in the same folder to make mass conversions, so these albums won't display album art in SuperMan.

The Meizu puts the album-arts back to albums folder right?
I think it should be no problem to implement that.
