An idea for the start menu
I think that it will be better if the start menu will be a graphic/objects menu
and not a text menu like the IPOD.
I'm talking about the main menu only and not on the sub menus.
And to have an option for changing to the classic view.
All this is an idea fo the new frimware vershion that will be come later on.

Are you suggesting something similar to the album browser of the iTouch or something a little simpler that can be altered with a skin? Such as a set of icons?

No, that's too similar to those cheap normal Chinese mp4 players.
