how do i send to meizu (i dont think it would be cheap for oversees im in california)? is it smart to open it up? IS THERE AN AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTER near me for cheap?

since i bought it from buy.com, the shipping to check if they allow warranty
will require 3 shippings, to buy.com, to daneelec, then to me making the
shipping COSTS 20$. Am i better off shipping it to meizu or another repair rather then to check if they allow warranty (would they realize that my touchpad is damaged from water or not?)

Ask buy.com if they accept exchanges or refunds. If you want to send it to Meizu, visit this link for more info Translated version of http://www.meizu.com/support/faq.asp

How may I get into contact with Meizu, who should I contact (E-mail address would be helpful) and more importantly how much will the repairs cost and how shall I send it (From the UK).

Background: Firmware working and has been upgraded numerous times. The problem, when I press the menu button, the left or subject the player to minor shock it turns of. It has not come into contact with water. 40% of the time there is no problem, but if the player shutsdown automatically and i reset it the former occurs. I purchases it in March.

Try looking at the link that I posted above for more info. Maybe if you ask the member "Sunless" for a better translation of the page.

My Meizu
When i opened my old one up to try and solder the broken USB port back i ended up accidentally breaking the touchpad wire strip. Well, it wasn't fun listening to the same music all over anyway.

If you do try to open it up, make sure to disconnect the touchpad from the main board when you get it apart.

for some reason, i still cannot open up the player (sl daneelec),

i formatted/upload firmware it around 4 times, and the TOUCHPAD WORKED PERFECTLY For awhile, then i turned it off then back on and it slightly worked, then i turn off/on and now its dead. then it works agian but its buggy and confirm/center nolonger workds

does any1 see this as a hardware problem or a software problem because it started to work when i reloaded firmware.

My Meizu
After updating my Dane-Elec Meizu M6 with the last firmware (S2004.6) big problems. The player doesn´t work anymore. Only a quick white blink is visible, further totaly nothing (dead player). The computer doesn´t recognize the player so I cant´t do anything.
I need help. I read about special tools I can use??. Sent me all the things that bring my player back to live. Serialnumber: M6SP04GGJ3KDL1921.
