Wait a moment. Internet Explore say to me the site is not safe.
Is this really safe?
I trust you anyway, so I took the link from BobbyQ.
Thank you BobbyQ for making this program a lot easier. Not only for advance users.
I have for now tested 3 songs with stutter and the stutter has moved from 2-3 clicks
to nothing or 1 click.
Anyway, the counter is also still not going very smooth in the last 2 seconds if you ask me.
Still freeze a little.
Sorry to be a little negative.
I have recently tried many other programs like this,
but this program clean up the files harder, but not completely.
Anyway thanks
Album art and tags is still working nicely on my player after this.

Can I drag my files off my device directly to the tidy mp3 batch program or do I have to drag them off my hard drive and then re-install them on my player? <---Maybe a stupid question but had to ask :-)

Thanks! HAHA! GOODBYE STUTTER! I wonder if this'll fix the random entire-song-stutter issue though (I've only had that come up 5 times in 2 months of 10-hour-music-days so it's gonna take weeks to have an answer).
(and since the miniplayer is recognized as an external hard drive, I dont see why you'd have to bring it to the internal hdd)

ps- i dragged directly from the external.
pps- BobbyQ- Thanx for the draganddrop patch, it doesn't work for folder though. It completely ignores subfolders and oddly enough, it takes any songs in the first level, creates 0kb copies, and moves them outside the folder. (ie- organization="Music"-Artists-Albums. random songs in Music without artist folders were copied into the main miniplayer folder as 0byte files. all other music and folders were untouched.)

Hi MuadDib, you were right. I didn't test it properly with subfolders. Fixed that now, you can drag ONE folder (with subfolders) onto the batchfile now, just reload the zip.

Any program that removes album art from the id3-tag will work!

Mediamonkey for example will do it while it's transferring/syncing songs to your MEIZU - you just have to check "Remove images from tags if larger than x KB" in the Sync-options (Device Profile).
For x you should write "1" KB so every album art will be erased while the transferring-process.

You can also force Mediamonkey to automatically copy Album Art as an image to the songs directory instead (named <ALBUM>.jpg). Finally syncing is done with one single klick - settings have to be applied only for the first time.

For me now this problem is completely solved - it's HISTORY!!! Yeah!
Now this Player is nearly flawless IMHO and my SAMSUNG P2 is on sale!

Thanks to everybody in this community for the hint on id3-tag-album-Art. Very helpful indeed!
However, the stuttering-bug is a very annoying bug and shouldn't exist in the first place.
But in the end this simple workaround is just a minor nuisance to solve this rather awkward problem.

BTW: I highly recommend MediaMonkey 3.0 to everyone to organize/sync your music!

It's nice your enthusiasm and I appreciate it because you're walking the way that lots of us have walked... but the stutter issue is not so easy to solve.

It's comprised of several problems at the same time, one of them is that you have discovered and surely it works as I've proved removing cover art form a song of NIN (1 Ghost I) that somebody posted here. After removing embedded cover art from the "stutter" song now sound clean and without problems.

But still is a problem with some frequencies of MP3 songs which aren't solved with your method. In the same thread you can find the song "Arabia" which is not repaired with it. Kindly download it and apply your method and it will not be fixed

Stutter fixer under Linux

Can anyone recommend a stutter fixer that runs on Linux? I normally use EasyTag. Can that remove all existing tags? I just checked it. It has a feature to remove all tags, but I don't know about bad tags.

i had some problems and this little tool fixed them, thought, i got some other problems.
long id3v2 text was cutted by this tool. so i searched the net and found two great little tools for windows with gui

mp3val: MP3val - home page (opensource)
vbrfix:Will's Web Site - Programs (sourcecode available)

for linux users: try it with wine

mp3val is very fast and keeps id3-tags/xing-tags
vbrfix can also add xing header to files with vbr and missing vbr-header. its also possible to remove ape-header. don't know if meizu can handle ape or if it begins to stutter

just try

Thanks for the program.
It fixed the stutters in my songs but it gave me another problem.
The forward function started to act really strange.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

-------

Never mind, restart + defragmentation fixed the problem with the forward function.
Once again, thanks for the program
