Windows mobile 6.1

Today microsoft announced a new version of windows mobile, its version number is 6.1,
newly added features are:
- support for flash
- h.264
- Lots More...

(of course this is not the look of the m8 interface)

more information can be found here:
Review - Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard & Professional

I hope that the m8 will have support for these new features also, so we can enjoy all these new features, since it is going to be released in several months i think they will have enough time to make the m8 work with these new features.

Well, not sure that upgrade to windows mobile 6 (6.0->6.1) will have any impact on the m8: windows mobile 6.x is based on windows CE 5.0, while m8 OS is based on windows CE 6.0, as will be the future windows mobile 7.0.
I doubt that Wmobile 6.1 added some new stuff in WinCE5.0, cause the novelties are in the application and shell (high-level UI). Maybe some librairies of WinCE5.0 have been updated, but even if it is the case, it does not mean that winCE 6.0 has been updated similarly, even if those update for CE 5.0 are relevant to the newer, improved CE 6.0, which is doubtful.

So, for Microsoft news that could lead to improved functionalities in the M8, look at
Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Embedded – Information and Benefits for Embedded Devices
They got a R2 release not too long ago I think, look out for an R3 for additonal features. Note that CE is only a kernel, librairies and components/applications, so much of the look and fell, high-level UI (like today screen) and the choice of application included (opera browser?) is done by Meizu, so MS announcement are of little help to guess about that...

Correction: M8 will use Windows Mobile 6.0 - WinCE 5.0.
The main attraction of the Windows Mobile 6.1 is a new GUI I believe, and Meizu will change the GUI of the OS as well as add support for flash and h.264 anyways. I think it doesn't really matter if the M8 will be based on 6.0 or 6.1

I'm sorry mate but M8 won't use Windows Mobile but Windows CE with a custom interface.
