No song is shown in the library.

After correctly updated the music library, it doesnt show any song. If i force to play a song in browser mode it goes back to now playing screen saying "please select a music for playing".

Maybe my many years old player is dying after constant modding.

it was the same problem for a friend, you should delete all thumbs.db files(if you are working with windows) or others files (who are not audio files or pictures or videos) to fix the problem i advice you to reorganise your files creating folders(if it's not the case) like this for the MUSIC folder: MUSIC/Artist/Album.Every artist and album do have a folder. Then you should tag your files with mp3tag.

With any files which is in the root folder but in folders (MUSIC PICTURES VIDEO EBOOK).With this organisation the player will recognise your files.Sorry for my bad english.I hope i will help you.

I tried everything, formatted it and tried with both old and new FW.

The problem persist even if i have one single song, however, videos are shown and played correctly, same as pictures.

This problem appeared when my player started to lag few miuntes every time before updating the library. Since then i had problems with usb connection, slow transfer, slow library update, incorrect ID tags and other problems.

just try to create one folder in "MUSIC" and put on it one song then see if the player recognize the song after library update.

*bump*

I have exactly the same problem. I'm now trying to fix it. But nothing works.

I tried DFU tools, without any success.

Fixed by decreasing folderlevels. Meizu really should fix all the bugs. I feel like using a beta version.

I have the same problem as described above and I really could do with some help.

When I switch my player on, all the music is shown but then is 'deleted' as shown in the top left hand corner, e.g. 20/1, 19/1, 18/1, down to 0/0.
The music is still in my player but I can't play it. The 'Please Select Music For Playing' message is shown.
If I 'update music library' everything is ok again until the player is turned off.

Would really appreciate any help. Thanks in Advance.

Guys I FIXED THE PROBLEMMMMMM YEAHHHHHHHHHHH

All you need to do, is :

1) Turn on your meizu
2)connect to USB
3) enter to the folders, and delete, MUSIC folder
4) disconnect the player
5) turn off the player
6)turn on the player, it says loading, but, wait, it works
7) now connect your meizu, and load music, on to your music folder, and ENJOY

See you

You could also play music from the browser, you do not need the library for that.
