This sounds right: I had a look at the SISVEL website. There is a nice pree release about their patent management (
http://www.sisvel.com/SisvelCEBIT2008-en.pdf ) . You can also find a list of companies which took licences for MP3 decompression... and Meizu is'nt listed.
