Clear things up

I know there have already been various posts about the m7, but they're pretty cloudy, so I have created this thread in order to clear things up. So basically I just have a series of questions:

1. Is it likely that the m7 will truly be released in March?
2. Will the m7 only be released after the MiniOne?
3. Will the m7 BE the miniOne without phone capabilities?
4. Will it have WiFi?

thanks for any responses, unless they're mean

I think you should ask these questions here, because nobody knows the answer, except Meizu (or maybe they don't know it either :P)

Well, it seems that Meizu is either working hard or hardly working, based on their answers to questions (which are nonexistent). Hopefully, the m7 hasn't been discontinued in favor of the m8. It would be perfect if it followed four conditions (IMO):

1. It has wifi and enough memory (ram) for a web browser
2. Applications can be developed for it and users would be able to fix bugs (like an alternate firmware is developed or something like that)
3. The price for the 8gb is below 230 USD
4. It's predicted size and features stay the same

...i would buy it in a heartbeat!

i was actually looking more forward to the m7 than the m8 to be honest....but seems to me like m8 is the real deal for meizu right now....hopefully they keep with their plans on m7 and not just focus on releasing FW updates for the m8 when/if it gets released...

1. No, most likely not.
2. Yes.
3. No one can be sure of this at the moment.

no WiFi? I guess I can settle for open development as long as it's a sure thing . Maybe bluetooth? It would be cool to tether to my phone . I too am looking forward to the m7 more than the m8 . Just hope it comes out before someone else releases something better.

Why does this need wi-fi or bluetooth. If you want a phone get the M8 (when it comes out) or an iphone. Leave the M7 as a PMP.

Because I don't want a phone... i already have one. It doesn't have wifi though, so it would be nice to have a pmp able to browse the web on a fast connection. Also, adding in some sort of wireless connection (bluetooth or wifi) opens a lot of doors for applications to be developed.

Hum... Maybe a you could buy tracks from the internet straight away (I think the zune can do that) would be cool. I hope we get more info at CeBIT regarding features and release date.
