Don't you have things like warranty for that? Unless you've abused your iPhone I can't imagine they wouldn't replace it with a new one if it's only four months old.
rofl, you shouldn't even consider buying another one btw if Apple doesn't replace it :D

Ill buy your brokenn screen one from you , Well is it just the touch overlay thats broken or the actual screen?? Or which one , Id love an iphone,(Id repair it obviously)
Its not apples duty to replace it (Afterall you cant crack a screen without abuse to a device) But they may just replace it... If you bought apple care they will defo replace it..

That is what I hate about Apple, they are so arrogant to let their customers pay for service. But like any other Apple product they put it in a nice box and then call it "Apple Care". Considering the prices of Apple products the "Care" part should be included.

Well I've you kinda abused it to make the screen break, it's your own fault :D
Don't blame Apple for it, their products have a acceptable buildquality overall.
Totally agreed with kadajawi's post below.

The iPhone is supposed to be really well built, it should be very hard to break it (and according to test videos that have been done that really is the case. If you've managed to break your iPhone, then you will probably break a M8 or about any other phone too. Learn how to handle your stuff...
And if it wasn't your fault, Apple should replace your phone. Heck, Apple even replaced an iPhone where the glass broke and it was clearly the owners fault.

That's not true. LCD's do not always crack because of abuse. It can be of an overheating motherboard/battery or just a faulty display. I highly doubt that Apple would replace the LCD for free, even if you have AppleCare.

Let's hope the m8-screen wont crack. In terms of overheating motherboards/batteries or faulty displays i'm trusting Meizu less than Apple to be honest.
My m6 building-quality is not something to be very happy about.

How is the M6 build quality nothing to be very happy about? I'm not sure you could trust either company, they're here to make money, not to make you happy. Do you think that all the people who own an M6 that works perfectly fine post here? Apple's build quality of the iPod is very poor. Not sure about the iPhone yet, but there have been some small problems already such as the screen bubbling up.

My m6 touchpad makes a strange "clicking" sound when i move it downward which it didn't had in the first 5 months, so something got loose on the inside or something. The supposed "speaker" works like 50% of the time, halfbroken, so I shut it down because it was pretty irritating. Some dust particles got behind the screen which is luckily on the sides of the screen so it wont get in the way too much when watching video. The paint is getting loose from the often-used play and hold button, which is luckily olny cosmetically.
I know what you're going to say, I just happen to have a bad unit and Meizu makes good stuff in general. Or i'm abusing it too much which i don't. This is my first mp3-playing which has this breakdown over time.
Trust me, the usual way to make much money is by actually making the people happy with their product. Also explain more about the supposed "very poor" iPod quality. The newest gen ipod's look pretty solid to me.

you can criticize the software like the GUI however the hardware of the Meizu is very very good for his price.just see the screen he's awesome at this price.

All - please try to keep your posts closer to the actual thread title.
Going back on-topic I'm done with Iphone too. I've have it for quite a long time now and really bothers me a lot.
Mine's an early 4Gb ver, but I'm so freaking tired of its fancy face and reduced productivity. C'mon there are tons of apps through Installer but most of them are plain useless.
No, no need to wait for an SDK that may cause people to sell apps that are free on other platforms.
Looking forward for an Xperia X1 or M8... whichever comes first

Speaker? I didn't know there were Meizu products with speakers. Which model is this?

M3 and M6 has some kind of a "mini-speaker" that makes the scroll sound.

I have seen HTC's where the screen broke after people put them on the terrace table in the sun while having lunch.
Never put a pda in direct sunlite for long periods.
The different layers of the screen will shrink and expand and the the screen brakes. You dont have to drop it to brake it !

The iPhone is a good phone. Excellent build. Great battery life in comparison to my old RAZR. Now I can go at least 3 days without having to charge my phone after talking for hours on end. Plus the simple fact that my mp3 player and my cellular device are now one and the same is absolutely wonderful. This is gonna be my phone for quite some time.

Yeah I agree, but think if the M8 will be better? And it's very cheap I'd say. The 4GB costs just a little more than a cheap iphone clone! Can't wait till they release the M8. :D
