I think with your usage of phones you should rather think about things like the Vertu phones which are supposed to be very robust. Or outdoor models. I think Motorola builds some very tough ones.

Vertu rocks, phone$$ out of reach anyone?.... I'm really wondering how good their OS is. I mean with that price I'd expect having a laptop built into those diamond incrusted cases lol

I wouldn't buy one of those phones if I could afford it...LOL...that is way to much money. Some of them look nice though. I feel out of place with this little trash can phone I have right now. Im patiently waiting on the M8 though. As for the MOTO's they all start looking the same with the RAZR keyboard look and I love QWERTY

As far as I know Vertu phones are very, very basic and old school. But then you get a Concierge button, and I think like one year of free service, which should do the job :D

I was just saying get one of those, as you really need something bullet proof when you can break an iPhone.

I have talked to countless suppliers and apart from the ones looking for a quick scam, all of them sincerely state April/May as the release date for the M8.
