Some questions

How high is the shipping to Austria (not Australia :D)?
How long is the guarantee outside US?
Will I have to pay the full shipping cost when sending the damaged player back to you during the guarantee time?

CD2U - For our international meizume customers we offer Flat Rated Shipping for Express Mail ($30.00 USD). This service also includes Delivery Tracking and Insurance. To receive this flat rated price you need to order from our meizume promo page - Please CLICK HERE

How long is the guarantee outside US?

CD2U - The warranty period is the same (1 year from the date of purchase). As you know this player has a high quality control process during manufacturing and is one of the best built players on the market. This is true for the hardware as well as the software (firmware). CD2U also has their own internal Quality Assurance policy. We test each player prior to shipping to our customers. We also set the menu language to English. This process has been quite successful for us. To date we have not had to return any players back to the manufacture after shipping to our customers. Our QA program has caught the manufacture defects prior to shipping to our customers. While we have had a couple returned to us, we are happy to say that our own internal technical support team was able to rectify the reported issue.

One other thought... please take a moment to read the feedback section of our sub-forum here at meizume. You can also read more feedback at our online store at eBay.

Will I have to pay the full shipping cost when sending the damaged player back to you during the guarantee time?

CD2U - We strongly believe that if any electronic product of this nature has a manufacturing defect issue, it will manifest itself during our quality control process. Even so, it is possible for that rare instance where a defective player is shipped (it hasn't happened so far, but it could happen). This is why we will replace any defective player (meaning one where we are not able to fix the reported issue at our facility) with a new player from our stock.

We deal with the manufacture and you get a new player.

To answer your question - Our policy is that the customer always pays for shipping. While this is the policy, we also realize we need to remain flexible in order to address the unique circumstances of each reported issue. What is important to remember we will always be fair and do what is right for our customer.

One last point.... Our reputation continues to be built on our ability to provide premium customer care (support) before and after we receive your order. We work hard to make sure you receive your player as manufacured and are able to enjoy it. That's why we have provided all our customers a toll free message support hotline, dedicated meizume support staff and dedicated customersupport@cd2u.net email service... at no cost (FREE).

Thank you for your question. I am confident there are other international customers who ask the same thing.
