Thumbs up FAQ Suggestions and Improvements

Hey guys, err0r and me have been working on a FAQ section for meizume.com with the most common questions.

Will be good to hear some sort of feedback from you, regarding topics to cover, important information, etc...

Post your thoughts in this thread

Are you guys creating a new FAQ from scratch or just adding upon the previous FAQ?

I wasn't sure where to add suggestions for the site. Do you think there could be a section on reviews? e.g. reviewing accessories/speakers/ etc that work well with the M6

Maybe you could add a resource editor key for the images.

like 1 = Upgrading Software etc.

just a suggestion

How about a marketplace where MeizuMe can give links to trusted online sellers/retailers of the Miniplayer and soon the Musiccard?

People might appreciate the option of being able to buy one through here

Ajmetoo already has that going in a stickied thread in Modifications and Skins. Resource Editor Help - Image Numbers

I have a thread for templates for creating skins, and a thread for a list of all skins as well.

EDIT: Nevermind, different forums, I guess. ^_^; Forgot vB had an FAQ link at the top. But I still say it should open the FAQ page in another window so it doesn't take away the window you're currently looking at.

After looking at it more, I was wondering something... is it possible to create the FAQ page like the vB help pages? vB Help I know I've seen the FAQ at this other big vBulletin site made up like that, and it looks very professional, and makes good use of screen space, since it spans the entire window instead of one column.

Here is how they set it up: http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/faq.php

Lightbulb How-To's

What about restructuring the FAQ so, taht you'll end up with a new section"How-To's" ??
First what I am always looking, and I suppose, not alone, is how to do this, how to do that!
So it is a FAQ, but more it is a How to, while in FAQ I would rather expect factual questions and answer, instead of a guide ....

so what do ya think? :D

Perhaps you could take a look on the part about changing language from chinese, last time I had to do it, the guide was not that helpful.

I think you misunderstood aquatint. I guess it was because of the language barrier.. He was actually making a valid suggestion, not bashing: in fact, "KISS (Keep it simple, stupid)" is a well know design principle.
