Leaked Images of M8

Reported as being leaked images of the M8. Although showing the tell-tale time of 19:08 I doubt that it is a fully working prototype, none the less it is surely a working unit able to display images.

and the time is still 19:08..... how interesting. if it's a dummy phone with a dummy screen the colors shouldn't be like this, and if it's real....well it's 19:08 as on the released images

Let's hope the real thing won't wear down as fast as this dummy does...

hmm interesting, I notice the icons are different from the image released before. Not sure if I like them as much. The video icon reminds me of an iclone. Still this is hopeful all the same

Jack Wong has posted that these images are of an early design build model made to get a hands on feel for shape, sizing and material texture. He also commented that as it was mostly hand made it does not have the finish quality that the manufactured casing would have.

One word... Progress
Finally after the long wait we can finally say that there is at least a working model.

Secondly. The 19:08 timestamp does mean that it's a fake or that we should doubt the validity of their picture. You can search for any picture of a normal phone across the net. Most of the US phones say 12:00AM in their display photos. Why can't we just allow them to have their oddly specific 19:08.

To llcoolsave: Even if the phone isn't release in EU I'm sure that there will be American vendors that would be willing to get it to you.

No, it's a plastic dummy.

Awesome. So when Jack says that this is just a mock-up and will have a different aluminum finish, does that mean it won't be black? I'm really liking that satin black look.

If they do change it i highly doubt they would make it look worse.

Nice picture, even if it is a dummy we finally get to see how the meizu m8 will look like in real life. I was wondering the same thing as someone above me however, will there come a european version? Because importing one from the US will probably limit the use of the device in the EU right? I live in Belgium so I hope that I'll be able to buy a version that will work (totally) in my country of course...

*fingers crossed*
