A)After I lost my brand new 8gb iPod, I researched what else was out there. I saw the glorious M6 during my search. The specs were what I was looking for and the price was over $100 less than what I payed for my nano. That was the day I decided never to buy an iPod again.
B)I really liked the M6 so I googled meizu to find out more. I found meizume.com. Now I visit daily.

A - I heard about Meizu, and miniPlayer in particular, thanks to the french MP3 players site "generation MP3" few monthes ago, when miniPlayer was just a dream only available in China.

B - When i knew miniPlayer will be my next player, i looked for more informations about it searching on the web, and MeizuMe asserted to me as the best answer to all my questions !

a) I was looking for a new DAP with a touch pad that was not an ipod (insert hissssssssssssssssss here) because everybody has an ipod. I stumbled on a website called Anythingbutipod.com. Jackpot. I found the minplayer review and I was won over.

b) If I remember correctly, I found out about meizume.com on miniplayer.info when I bought my M6 miniplayer. I learned the M6 was skinable here and thats what keeps me with my minplayer. Meizume.com = my homepage

a) When my old mp3 player decided to stop working (MPIO FL100) I went on a search for new DAP. I had my eye on the iPod Nano for a while until I stumbed upon dapreview.com and saw a review on this sexy new player called the Meizu M6. It had won me over with its stylish design and mass of features. I now own a white M6 and black M3. I love them both. :D

b) Simply googled "Meizu" and found this site. I check the site almost everyday for news about meizu products and firmware updates. I also lerk around the forums.

A) After having loads of "crappy" mp4 players, I saw a pic of a Meizu M6 on the MP4 forum mympxplayer. I didn't get a Meizu untill the Music Card came out.

B) I got first into Teclast players, but then Meizu, so I thought, there should also be a Meizu forum. When I was checking out Meizu DAPs (on HOD) I saw a ad to MeizuMe. I klicked it and found this nice forum.

a) how you found out about Meizu ?
- Well this is a long story here. I got my first mp3 player 128 mb when I was 14 yrs old. It does FM , Recorder , Mp3 , WMA. Then, after a year later, the 128mb can not hold any more of the massive files I have, I decided to buy a 1gb Samsung MT6z in replacement. The 1gb storage is so large.. and AA batteries is wonderful. Then I meet a friend who has an iriver. That player's sound quality is so good. The bass and treble sounds like a real speakers+sub in my ears. Then I decide to : "In search of mp3 player with good sound quality". I found Cowon mp3 player is interesting and it has good sound quality ratings. However, the price is not that "affordable". I considered to buy a cowon U2, but the screen is too small and the videos won't look good with that screen. iAdio 6 is in my list but the lagging of miniHDD and HDD is sensitive to drops , so the player is out of my choice. Iriver clix also comes to my mind but the price is high at that time. By the 2006 Ipod recently released their Ipod Videos and ipod nano. Seriously, since that players are released, all of my kids at school have them. I am not a big fan of ipod ever since I know the truth that ipod's sound quality is not that great. The transfer music process requires itunes which i don't like. I can't even pull out my music after i put songs in the ipod either. And of course my requirments for the player is it must have a built - in record mic and FM turner. Luckily, after surfing around Dapreview.com, anythingbutipods. and engadget.com . Meizu's appealing appearance has caught up my mind. I began to do more research about the player as well as contact other members who owns the player. I'm looking for a player that can do User EQ and it must produce good bass for techno and rap music. Meizu M6 does it all. I contact a member who owns an Iriver clix and M6, he says that the bass won't be disappoint me even with stock earphones.

Then I join English forums of meizu.com did some more reasearch, and luckily by that time, reviewers from Europe has made some good ratings of the sound quality of this player. It also has Recordings, FM and two new things that my other previous player don't have are: Big 4gb storage,2.4" color screen, videos and photos.

The look of the meizu is sleek and clean. The finish is elegant. I set my mind on the Meizu and contact misticaudio.com place my order and wait til the day M6 landed in my hands. The first thing i do when I got the player is update to the latest firmware ( which is 1.007 at that time) and test out the user EQ right away. OMG , the sound quality after using User EQ has completely blow me away. The bass quality and the clarity of the sound is better than other players I have own. I'm happier than ever. I finally got a player that satisfy my audiophile ears. I also try Jazz and Flamenco guitar in the player, the sound quality is as good as on speakers with amp. Meizu M6 is a good player with many functions that beat the Ipod, Creative Zen , Iriver, Cowon in terms of price and sound quality wise.

b/ After joining the meizu english forum, they have been great to help me solving my problems of the player as well as keeping me a head up on the latest firmware to fix bugs. Then i found a thread of error on that forum if i'm right. He advertise his fan site of meizu and I joined in. The number of members and the helpful information about reviews of meizume.com are very helpful than the English Offical site of Meizu.

Error is also a good administator , the forum is set up logically as well as helpful guide from him. He also write some good FAQ to help newbies. I also like the way of the topics arranged.

Overall Meizu M6 and Meizume.com has been together as partners of me and a reliable source.

a) Funny story , my dad bought himself one (He came about meizu from the recent DAP review, To take his one on holiday with him and he was climing the mountains in Switzerland when it fell out his pocket and he lost it , he was sure it was there as he heard it go smashing down , and then he never found it , Anywway , then he wanted a new meizu and bought himself a larger 4gb one for $130 , He decided that 4gb was a little too much and gave me his m6 in exchange for $30 , the differance between 2gb m6'es at the time , So i ended up with a 4gb white m6 for $30 (My dad is very kind and just gave me it for that price brand new (used once or twice) with all acsessories.

b) I came across meizume from jarmarc , The seller on ebay and through his website - My dad asked me to find him a cheap 2GB m6 from a reliable seller
www.jtcelectronics.biz
He reccomended this website as a usefull one for tips on the miniplayer > If it ever goes wrong before i contact him as he can be somewhat delayed in responces via e-mail

After that I was a little unshure about buying a 8GB player at Ebay because some rumors about faked 4 and 8GB players containing only 2GB real flash. But the describtion here about the miniplayer sounded perfect... :-)

I love these contests

a) Well I thought "Hey! Dude, you need a new mp3 player", because my old one crashed and sucked anyway. So I used google and found out about the iRiver Clix and yelled "OMG! This one's awesome!". I started to compare prices and quality. I came to the result that it was much too expensive for what it can do. So I looked for alternatives and there the Meizu appeared. I saw it, loved it and bought it.

b) I wondered and hoped that there was a nice Meizu community which can answer my questions and provide tips and tricks. So I googled "Meizu" and stumbled upon MeizuMe. And just the same happened: I saw it, loved it and registered.

I was searching for an MP4 player for myself - my daughter had one of early ones - no browsing/amv video/crappy picture. I was looking for something better. After some googling and random searches on ebay - I came across the M6. Bought one off of ebay and searched for a user group on Google and found meizume.com !
