My Meizu
Did the existence of MeizuMe affect you positively when choosing an audio player?

As the title goes. In other words, would you still consider buying/have bought a Meizu player if MeizuMe.com hadn't existed? Please vote and discuss; why and why not.

Not really. When I had read all the horror stories on this site before, I had not bought my M6 miniplayer

I didn't really want to buy a mp3 player before hearing of the Meizu M6

But i have felt in love with it and i do NOT regret it

I first bought it and then find your site on the Web, so you didn't influence me, but you would have if I knew it before

meizume and miniplaer.info help in my decision to buy, the sites direct contact with meizu company and the quick release of firmware and rescource editor and up to date news gave me the impression that meizu valued the feedback from customers and and planned to be an inovative company and not another clone manufacturer.

By the way my son and his friends also want miniplayer for christmas, because their creative microphoto harddrives died from being dropped, that was why I wanted a solid state flash mp3 player, and they are impressed by the features of the miniplayer like I was.

yup, meizume definitely had a hand in my choosing the m6.

first of all, i'm highly skeptical of anything manufactured in china. i'm NOT dissing chinese made products (hey, i'm of chinese descent) but it's generally true that most products from china are poorly made copies of existing products. in fact, i initially dismissed the m6 from my shortlist of potential daps to buy.

but meizume and miniplayer.info have really influenced my decision. and i have to say, i'm not regretting it at all. i love meizume as the people are very helpful (especially Error, for putting up this site in the first place :D) and very skilled.

so, in short, this site has been extremely helpful in my search for a new dap.

I just wanted to make sure that there is a good community around my player and I found out that MeizuMe is one. That's it.

i probably still would've bought it, but the news that dane-elec would start selling them, and the fact that firmware and video is discussed so well here, did help me want it even more.

No it didn't affect my purchase.

I usually base by dap purchases on opinions from audiophiles (in this case headfi), although i'm not 100% satisfied with my m6 namely because of the high amount of bg hiss.

As above. I've been given my Meizu E3 by my girlfriend for Christmas Eve, 'cause before I was rerading about it, and she said, she will buy me , what i choose ;] so i decided for meizu. We had luck, because we've foun it in a regular shop, and didn't have to buy it at webstores (in Poland Meizu is almost unknown player, the main placesto buy it are allegro or e-bay services ). And it was very good choice ;] However i'm, glad the foum like this one exists ;]

I did convince me to make the final decision. Mostly because I love wide support. Also from other users. My previous player was a Frontier Labs and the player itself was OK, but the support and usercommunity was minimal so I stuck with some errors no one could help me with.

Greetz.
