Erm... they're very standard headphones, with a 3.5mm jack. Are you used to the huge 6.3mm jacks?! No portable player has that format, I'm pretty sure.

Short answer: any normal headphones will work. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong.

Sounds like a clone if it is the 2.5mm jack. If it's the standard 3.5mm, any headphone using a 3.5mm plug (the most common size for portable headphones) would work.

If it's a clone, I'd also be suspicious of the capacity, since so many have hacked memory. If they are selling you a clone as a genuine player, they probably aren't above selling it with hacked memory as well.

Since we're on the topic of clones, how can one tell if the player is real or not.

When you say an I-Meizu are you talking about this:

http://www.meizume.com/showpost.php?...6&postcount=60

If so it is not a Meizu player but a cheap knock-off Rockchip player. You will find it easier to buy a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter for the earphones that way you can use a standard 3.5mm set of phones. You should be able to pick one up at any electronics store.

A word of caution as well if you purchased your 4GB I-Meizu from I-Proshop, they are well known for selling players with hacked memory chips that read larger than their true size so your 4GB player could very well be only 1-2GB.
To test it I suggest you create a folder with 1GB of music files and copy it to your player, then rename the folder and copy it to the player 2 more times so that you have 3 folders each filled with 1GB of music files then start playing the files in the last folder you added. If you find that they will not play or your player crashes or restarts then your memory is hacked. If you can play all the files then you should be ok.

My Meizu
If you bought it thinking you'd get a Meizu player, you've been fooled. File a PayPal dispute.

That means that the Meizu Music Card has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack? I was wondering because of the small size...
